ISOTHERM Basic 40 Hot Water Heater 11 Gal. – 604023BD00003.  The Basic 40 has a dual engine heat exchanger. The double coil is sometimes used by boaters who have hydronic heating to maximize use of the heating. They are often used in conjunction with two engines such as a main engine and a generator to take advantage of the surplus heat provided by two separate sources.
