• Our compact drive unit sets a new standard for ease of handling compared to other designs. Simply pull the furling line, and the drive unit responds immediately, rotating the torsion cable without any delay or unwanted corkscrewing. This seamless transfer of torque to the head swivel ensures a uniform roll-up from top to bottom, resulting in a tightly wrapped sail. Lowering the furled spinnaker to the deck is effortless, preparing it for the next hoist.
• The Reflex cable offers superior resistance to corkscrewing compared to traditional textile cables. Its construction, featuring braided stainless steel wire filaments over a braided polyester core, transmits torque to the head swivel through both tension and compression, resulting in faster furling. In contrast, textile cables transmit torque only through tension.
• Additionally, our system is equipped with a quick-release modular T-fitting, allowing a single drive unit to handle multiple sails, further enhancing its versatility and convenience.
