EZSTEER Omc Cobra (Std.Rod) – 22002.

• A self-adjusting connecting rod lets you pilot any auxiliary outboard motor up to 25 hp. from your boats main wheel.
• The rod connects between your main and auxiliary engine allowing steering of either engine, even if one is raised up or tilted out. Kits are avialable to fit every outdrive engine and outboard combination, even if you have a swim platform.
• A sailboat model connects the auxiliary to transom mounted rudders.
• Installation is quick and easy. In most cases a wrench and/or screwdriver are the only tools needed.
• Stainless steel connecting rods are constructed using Dupont Delrin ball joints with brass inserts.
• Mounting brackets are stainless steel dipped in black vinyl to prevent scratching your drives. Sit back, relax and steer your boat with ease.
• To order specify your main engine type and rod length required. To find the proper rod length measure from the center of your main engine to the center of your auxiliary with both engines down and straight ahead.
• Each full kit consists of: -main bracket assembly -self-adjusting connecting rod -auxiliary outboard bracket assembly -all necessary hardware Individual rods and brackets are also sold separately.
• When mounting on a full or 3/4 swim platform a special bracket and long rod are required.

*NOTE All 4-stroke short shaft auxiliary engines require a special bracket assembly for proper placement on the housings. These brackets are not interchangeable with our standard OTO (outboard to outboard) brackets. Please be sure to specify which model you have when ordering your E.Z. Steer system!
